Unleash your inner performer through Robson Ranch’s performance art clubs and classes. Whether you are already a skilled artist or you’re just itching to try out something fun and new, Robson Ranch presents these opportunities for you and the rest of its residents. Here are some of the performing arts activities that the community offers:
- Fancy dancing a waltz, or are you in the mood for a sexy tango? Whether you’re interested in lively jive or you’re more into boogie, Robson Ranch’s ballroom dance classes offer a great avenue for you to tap into the ballroom dancer in you. Classes are held every Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Lonestar Ballroom.
- Fun and lively, line dancing involves a repeated sequence of steps and is usually done in groups. Learn the basics of this social dance through Robson Ranch’s classic line dancing classes. Held every Wednesday from 2 to 4 p.m., the Classic Line Dancers welcome everyone, from beginners to advanced dancers.
- Made up of over 70 members, the community’s Music Club & Community Choir hosts three concerts held at the Main Clubhouse every year. The club also sponsors other events such as Karaoke and Dance Nights. Concert rehearsals are held every Monday night, from September until April.
- Dance your heart out once you join the Robson Ranch Dance Club, which starts its Annual Membership Drive during the start of the year. The dance club hosts four dances annually; the Valentine Dance (February), the Spring Fling Dance (April), the Summer Celebration Dance (July), and the Fall Harvest Dance (October).
Every second Wednesday and fourth Tuesday of the month, the Robson Ranch Clubhouse plays host to Country Western line, partners, and couples’ lessons from 6:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Participating in Country Western dancing enables Robson Ranch residents to mingle with other students and have fun on the dance floor.
